Meridian inks deal to bring Sandlot to
The Boro But this one will differ from
previous versions.
D.C. natives Ian Callender and Kevin Hallums have struck a deal to bring Sandlot to The Boro, the massive mixed-use development in Tysons from Bethesda-based The Meridian Group. Sandlot at The Boro will be the fourth iteration of the outdoor community venue that first opened in Southwest D.C. but later relocated to the Navy Yard area. As with the earlier versions, including one that opened last month in Georgetown, this one is a placeholder for future development at The Boro.
